Catching up!

Our holidays were great. This year, we were able to spend a good amount of time with our family and friends at several different events. It was truly a wonderful time! Here are a few highlights:

Christmas

For the past few years, Joe and I have been doing a grand tour of New Jersey every Christmas Day. This was our last year visiting 3 different houses (all at least an hour apart each) in one day. We ate well, had great conversation and were completely spoiled by our families with very generous gifts.

Baby Shower

First off, my mom rocks. She picked out a wonderful Italian restaurant and ordered all my favorite foods for the shower. She and my bestie, Jen, threw a wonderful party. Everything was perfect! It was overwhelming to have so many women that I love in one room welcoming me to the next stage of life- motherhood and presenting me with gifts. Everyone was so incredibly generous and we are feeling like we have a lot of what we need for Cappy. It was also so great to feel so supported- we have so many people we can ask for advice and help!
