Cappy weighs almost 5 pounds now! I had a doctor's appointment today and his heartbeat was a perfect 155 beats per minute. When the doctor was checking the fundal height, he could not actually find the top of my uterus since it is so far behind my ribs now. There is no more room left! As baby gets stronger, his kicks are noticable through my clothes and sometimes are a bit uncomfortable.
In other news, Cappy and I have been snowed in this week- after getting 8 inches of snow on Saturday, we got a bunch of wintery mix on Tuesday evening causing school to be called off 3 days in a row. The craziest part is we are expecting at least another foot starting on Friday. So, it could be that I only end up at work 1 day this week. I have to admit, I'd probably appreciate the snow days a bit more if Cappy was here.
Dad and Sarah are supposed to be arriving sometime early Friday. I'm so excited to see them! I saw my sister at Christmas, but with both of us living away from "home" we don't get to see each other as often as we'd like. Dad lives in Minnesota, but this year we have been able to get together once in the summer, once in the fall and now this weekend! Dad even thinks he will get here when baby comes, which is fantastic. I just hope that the weather is decent for their long drive! Our plans are to hang out, play wii, and paint the nursery.
