Just wanted to say that I have to go back to school today. Its the moment that all teachers dread all summer, yet conversely look forward to. I am hoping that Cappy behaves and does not cause me to throw up at school. I'd really prefer that!
On a sad note, I attended the memorial for my student who unexpectedly passed away last week. He had an undiagnosed heart defect and died while playing soccer. His father said, "He completed his work here, but it is sad he did this before me." I can only imagine the pain that he and his wife feel.
