Poppyseed

As someone who has never been pregnant before, I'm finding everything that I read completely fascinating. Truly life is a miracle! Baby starts out as a dividing group of cells, becomes a blastocyst, and this week the blastocyst split into two, creating an embryo and placenta. All in a matter of days!

I also learned that my little embryo is roughly the size of a poppy seed. Also amazing? That something the size of a poppy seed can cause me to burp, according the best friend, at least 4 times an hour. Attractive!

Oh, did I mention my BFF is visiting me? The fabulous Jen (who has been my bestie since the 2nd grade and sometimes lets me call her Caunie Bolgnie) is in Virginia! She screamed when she found out that she will be Aunt Jen in 9 months. I love her.
